Here's how the Powering Leaders Program works, usually delivered over 12-months:

  • Kick off workshop: Understand the learning journey ahead, prepare for 360 feedback and get mentally ready for a transformational change in your leadership approach. Delivered face to face or online. 
  • 360 feedback: Deploying a valid and reliable 360 degree leadership feedback tool (we use The Lifestyles Inventory or The Leadership Circle Profile), receive life-changing insights about the effectiveness of your leadership approach. Supported by two personalised debrief meetings, you’ll be able to hone your leadership approach with clarity and precision. 
  • 4 x 1-day workshop modules of leadership development learning: Focussed on models and tools which allow your team to become better leaders of people through self-awareness, self-leadership, team leadership and strategic leadership.
  • Four Power Coaching Sessions for every participant, delivered between each learning module, to help your leaders extract and apply learnings to the real world of work

We engaged Angela to run a communication and leadership development program with the onsite engineering team. As part of this program, we did facilitated group sessions combined with one-on-one coaching sessions with team members.

At a team level, the sessions with Angela helped break down the communication barriers that we had as a team and helped us to productively navigate the difficult conversations we had to have as a team. Who am I to tell you about leadership?

Angela Koning is an executive coach and facilitator delivering mentorship, complex workshop facilitation and leadership programs which turn technical experts into inspiring leaders.

She specialises in guiding industry, government and research leaders to make a greater positive impact in the world, faster – and at less personal cost, including overcoming the fatigue and burnout which is prevalent in technical leaders.

Her podcast, The Secret Life of Leaders, supports environmental, social and governance change leaders with leadership and personal effectiveness strategies to navigate the complexities and scale of leading positive change in the world.

Angela has over 20 years’ experience in delivering proven leadership development and strategic planning methodologies to leaders and teams in corporate, government and research contexts.
